Navy band

Today the navy band came to pt England school to perform on the stage and sing songs with instruments.

Wow! What an exciting afternoon I had yesterday. Room 15 went to Mr Moran's class we were learning about chromebooks for next year. My buddy was Mekala.

On the chromebooks I was learning about dinosaurs I was watching a YouTube clip about dinosaurs it was so cool when I watched it then I watched a dinosaur rap and I was singing it in my head then I told my buddy what I saw in the youtube clip I said I was a dinosaur chasing another dinosaur it was so cool when I watched it.

I felt so excited when i was able to play on my buddy's chromebook.

My favourite part of the afternoon was when my buddy and me went on maths games.

Every day after maths we have P. E. Miss va’afusuaga sets up all the gear and they are called cones, hoops, balls, and bats.

The games we played were over arm, rob the nest, and the bat game. Here’s some of the things that we did. We were throwing the balls to the person on the other side of the cones.

We practiced doing under arm and overarm throwing of stuff at the bucket and all the other stuff.

My favourite game is rob the nest. The best part of P.E. is playing rob the nest. I love practicing overarm and underarm throwing.

Wow! What an exciting day I had on Monday. I went to Stonefield's playground. I went with my baby brother, my dad and my mum.

The best thing that happened was the monkey bars was at the bottom of the bridge.

I felt so excited when I was going to the pools. Inside was a spa pool, a big pool and a long water slide. Me and my family went to Burger King. it was yummy.

Learning to Stilt Walk

Politicians.

If I want to be a politician I need to work very hard. I would have to go and knock on people's doors and ask if they can vote for me. I have to be really brainy and be good. I would have to try and try. I would have to stand on the side of the road with signs.

Politicians work in both Wellington and their local electorate. Politician works for the government and the politician takes taxes from our parents to spend on roads, schools, hospitals.

Police.

In New Zealand the police wear navy caps with a badge on it. The police wear a belt it has a gun on the belt and handcuffs. The police wear a blue shirt and black pants. The police wear shiny shoes and a shiny cap. The police has a Walkie talkie.

The police keep us safe on the roads and in our communities. The police check the cars for license and check if the people is drunk driving.

I met a policeman and he is my uncle. I have met a policeman at the Santa parade too.

Fire Fighter

Kojo

When kojo mother receives a loan from some village families, she gives a little money to her son. Kojos mother gave some money to him to buy a hen from a farmer, so they can eat some of the eggs and sell some of the eggs.

Kojo sells his eggs at the market and buys more hens. Kojo wanted to have a chicken farm so he went to get a loan from the bank.

Kojo helped the people by giving some eggs to the people. Kojo helps the people by giving them healthy food.

Firefighter daivd.

If you want to be a firefighter you have to fill out a long form and do all kind of taste. If you want to be a firefighter you have to be strong and you have to be able to pass the whole tests  if you want to be a firefighter and believe in yourself.

Firefighters respond to emergency calls in a variety of ways. Firefighters save people from fires.

Fire trucks are like a moving tool box. Firefighters carry gas masks. Fire trucks have a siren on top for emergencies.

I would like to be a firefighter because I am brave and strong.

My holiday.

My holiday was that I went to Waiheke Island and I saw my grandma and pop. They were so happy to see me and my brothers too. In the morning I went to my friends house. After I played games it was water girl and fire boy and I slept over there. It was fun.  

Once upon a time a man was named Robin Hood . Robin Hood was at his Friends I think They lived in England. Robin Hood went to shoot the arrow too. he lived in Nottingham. he takes the rich men's Money from them. the people were looking robin shooting the arrow on the target. robin hood got the target so many times that he got the trophy. then the guards know who he was, but he got away and then never saw him again.

Possums.

What is a predator?A predator is a creature that hunts and kills other animals.

Predators are large birds, snakes, dingoes, they kill possums.

Possums give farm animals diseases. They eat eggs too and the Number of possums has increased quickly. Sometimes the trees and plants stop growing. Possums eat the trees too.

Cinderella.

Once upon a time there was 2 ugly step daughters and there was a girl that was beautiful. Her name was Cinderella. She had to clean the house up everyday. Cinderella had a mean stepmother too. There was a mailman at the door. The 2 ugly step daughters ran to the door and snatched the mail off the mailman. The 2 ugly step daughters ran to the mean stepmother. The mean step mother opened the mail. She was reading the mail. They were invited to the ball.

The 2 ugly step daughters and the mean stepmother went to the ball without Cinderella. When she heard the door slam Cinderella looked everywhere in the house. Then no one was in the house. She went outside crying on the seat. Someone showed up. It was Cinderella's fairy godmother. Her fairy godmother turned six mice into six white horses and 1 large pumpkin into a carriage. Her godmother put some magic on her and her rubbish clothes turned into a beautiful dress. She got into the carriage. The carriage took her to the ball.

The prince saw her and took her hand. Then he danced with her.

The clock went bing! It was 12 O'Clock. She let go of the prince's hand and ran down the steps. While she ran down the steps her glass slipper fell off her foot.

She went home and cleaned the floor. The went to her house and let her try the glass slipper. It fit her foot.

Cinderella married the prince. They lived happily ever after.

Making Milo

1. Put one teaspoon of milo in a cup

2. Pour a little bit of milk in the cup with the milo

3. Get the jug of water and pour the hot water in the cup

4. Stir the cup of milo

5. Drink it

6. then chuck the cup into the bin.

7. then you are all done

I liked the milo because it was yummy and delicious. I was like, "oh my goodness this milo is amazing and taste incredible."

Maui and the Sun

Once upon a time the sun was going too fast and Maui couldn't eat his food. Maui couldn't Fish. Maui couldn't hunt. So he called his brothers, "let's go and make ropes out of flax so we can get the sun and slow the sun down," said Maui.They put the ropes over the sun and they hurt the sun and the sun said,"you are killing me." Maui said "let him go." So they let him go and they had plenty of time to do everything.

Rainy Weekend

On a Rainy day there is a great big puddle. There were a lot of more waves

and they crashed onto the little wall on the left side of the road . And the

Police was watching the cars and trucks and buses just in case somebody

crashes.

We celebrated for the waka at Pt England beach and after we celebrated for the waka. We shaked hands with the Hawaiian people.

School picnic

Last Friday  we went to  the school   picnic down at the Pt England Beach. At first we had morning tea and then we played on the park. We were singing in the microphone.It was fun.
